Castlevania: The Dracula X Chronicles is a compilation of sorts, featuring a completely remastered version of a previously unreleased Castlevania game: Rondo of Blood. It also includes the original Rondo of Blood, as well as (here it comes) the original Symphony of the Night, an incredible fan-favorite. For those of you who are unfamiliar with the Castlevania series, you're dealing with a side-scrolling action platformer that pits you against a host of demons, ghouls and vampires in an attempt to slay Dracula and his dark minions. Anyone uncomfortable with extremely intense, old-school platforming may want to look elsewhere for their gothic fix - the remastered Rondo of Blood is really hard, and often times it's just downright frustrating. Casual gamers beware: it'll suck your blood.

Dead to Rights - Reckoning (USA) PSP PPSSPP High Compress

Dead to Rights: Reckoning is a standard action game that attempts to follow in the footsteps of the console game Dead to Rights II, by offering nothing more than straightforward action. While there's something to be said for a game that cuts to the chase and focuses merely on your ability to lock onto targets and mash the fire button to blast them in the face, Reckoning has shoddy control and some ugly graphical glitches. Its handful of problems really get in the way and make this PSP game short, uninteresting, and not much fun at all.

There's a story somewhere in Dead to Rights: Reckoning, but it's easy to miss and unimportant to boot. Missions begin and end with brief cutscenes that are driven by some text. Speech, obviously, would have been better at conveying this message. The text has something to do with a hostage that needs rescuing, and then at some point you switch from shooting Triad gangsters in the face to shooting armored militia members in the face. But considering the drudgery of Reckoning's gameplay, none of this really matters much.

Undead Knights (USA) ISO Download PSP PPSSPP

The PSP has made itself home to a number of weird and quirky titles, the latest of which is Tecmo's Undead Knights. Pitting you as a member of the Blood family, who were struck down when they spoke out about the king's new wife being too controlling of the land, and then brought back from the grave with the power to raise the dead (hence the title), the game is two parts action title and one part (simplistic) realtime strategy. The idea is solid, if clearly destined for a niche audience, but the production quality and controls leave a lot to be desired.

The basic idea is that you head into a mission, which generally is just you invading a castle to take down someone high in the food chain, kill some guys, turn them into zombies and then use them to fight, solve puzzles or what have you. As you progress you'll earn souls that you can then spend to upgrade your character with more health, new combat moves and the like. Again, the setup is good, but it quickly falls apart once you're in battle.

Over the past decade or so, zombie games have become increasingly popular, most of which have been horror/adventure games or top-down shoot’em-ups. It is very rare that you come across a zombie game that veers from either one of these genres, but once in a while, a developer comes out with a zombie game with a difference. Zombie Racers, the most recent release from UK developer Big Head Games, is one such game.

Zombie Racers is a top-down racing game where you will face the top zombie racers in search of cash prizes and the chance to become the first ever champion of the Bloody Wheels Tournament. There are two modes in Zombie Racers, the first being Story Mode, where you have to finish first in each race to progress onto the next, while killing as many zombies as possible in each race to earn cash for upgrading your car. The second mode is Freeroaming, which has three different contests which I will talk a little about in a moment.
